A Little Bit About Me

Welcome to my blog! I thought I’d start by telling you a little about myself.

I’ve been a reader as far back as I can remember. I love fiction and I read anything I can get my hands on. I have also loved writing almost as much as reading. It didn’t matter what it was- a diary entry, poetry, or even a paper for school- I loved wording things in my own special way.

I was never much into supernatural novels until a very dear friend of mine pushed them on me. Sure enough, I was hooked! About six months ago that love for the paranormal translated itself into a book idea. From there it snowballed until I published Love Bite at the end of February.

My life is busy and certainly never dull! I am a 27-year-old stay at home mom. There are always dishes and laundry, not to mention the vaccuuming, steam cleaning, taking care of the pets…. *yawn* Anyway… We live in a zoo. Okay, not a zoo but it might as well be! We have one older dog who is a lab mix, plus we have 2 new puppies who are lab/Shar Pei mixes. They are only 3 months old so I spend a lot of the day yelling, “That’s not yours!” or “Stop chewing on the coffee table” or “That’s my coffee!” Plus we have 5 cats- 2 adult females and 3 female kittens under a year old. Oh, and can’t forget my daughter’s fish….

And then of course we have my husband, my 4-year-old daughter, and my 10-year-old son. Did I mention that it’s never dull around here? It’s amazing I find time to write at all!

Yet here I am, six months after the idea took flight. I am working hard on book 2 of the Just One Bite series. I have one short story completed (yes, it will eventually be published as well) and another idea or two for more short stories floating around in my head. Stay tuned- I promise there’s more on the way!
